Fishing at sea with your own boat has become more popular the last few years. In the early seventies, it was an exception to see someone at sea with a steel smack or wooden sloop.

Because of the strong reduced catches at beaches, a lot of shoreanglers made the switch to self-skippering boats.

In order to increase the safety of this fast growing group of anglers as well as to promote the infrastructure for launching trailer-boats, our club was founded.

The area the club covers, goes from the Maasvlakte till the Belgian border.
