Safety

Quite fast after the founding of the club, we got special permit of the P.T.T.-Radio Controle Dienst to aplpy in the name of our members for radiotransmitter permits. (No CB-radios).
The club is the only one to sell these 3 channel tranceivers.
Channel C1; for communication at sea between boats
Channel C2; for communication during contests
Channel C3; EMERGENCY-CHANNEL, only for communication with the coastguard

An updated weatherforecast for the Zeeland-Delta is available every hour on this channel.

At sea, you 're obliged to be "stand by" on channel "C1" or "C3" in order to give response to warnings from the coastguard or emergency calls from other anglers.
On channel "C3" coastguardstation Ouddorp is stand by 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

In case of trouble the Royal Dutch Lifeboat Organisation (KNRM) is only a call away,
24 hours a day.
They come to rescue you, no mather when or how. All FOR FREE
Pay a visit to their website and find out how you can support this organisation. They work without gouvernamental support.
